dba has launched several new projects in the economic development and applied innovation sectors:

Santa Fe County Economic Development Plan

dba recently completed a long-term economic development strategy and plan for Santa Fe County, which was passed by unanimous vote of the Board of County Commissioners in June, 2014. 

 

Santa Fe Innovation Park
SFIP, an applied solutions laboratory, uses trans-disciplinary creative problem solving techniques to produce highly innovative solutions in complex areas. As part of SFIP, two related initiatives are in full implementation:

• The Microgrid Systems Laboratory:  MSL is a Research, Development, Demonstration, and Deployment lab for community-scale distributed energy systems.
• Place-Sourced Impact Investing:  The PSII initiative seeks to develop a vibrant impact investing and social enterprise ecosystem in the Santa Fe region 

SFIP's initial planning, under dba's direction, was supported by the City of Santa Fe and private and philanthropic donations, and it is led by dba President David Breecker.
